Membership

All persons with the Cassidy surname or a variation of the Cassidy surname, spouses, their descendants and persons with an interest in family genealogy, Irish history and culture are welcome to become members of the Cassidy Clan.

Basic Membership

Joining the clan costs £30 Brit/ U.S. $55 .  Each new member receives a beautiful certificate of clan membership, a free consultation, if requested, with Nuala Cassidy-White, our Chairperson and Clan Genealogist, to assist you in tracing your Cassidy family roots, and a subscription to the clan newsletter.  

Once you join the clan, your membership is effective for three years.  Thereafter, the cost of renewing your membership for another three year period is £20 Brit / U.S. $35, .  All active members receive the annual clan newsletter and are entitled to vote at the general meeting conducted at each clan rally. 

We greatly appreciate your support of the Cassidy Clan as we are an entirley volunteer run organization and all proceeds are used to pay for postage and support our website, rally and programs to preserve sites associated with the Cassidy family in County Fermanagh. In addition, we maintain a database of genealogical information, which has expenses.

Lifetime Membership

A lifetime membership is an outstanding way of supporting the clan's mission of promoting friendship and genealogical research worldwide among Cassidys and their descendants.   You will receive the same certificate, free genealogical consultation and year's subscription to the clan newsletter as basic members.  In addition, no renewal fee will ever be imposed on your membership and you will receive the newsletter free of charge for your lifetime. 

As an added incentive, we will send you the "Cassidy Homestead" print as shown at the giftshop and "Cassidy Clan Coat of Arms Sterling Silver Pin" of which both will be mailed to you free of any shipping and handling charge.  The cost of a lifetime membership is £137 Brit / $195 U.S.

Family Membership

We now offer Family membership for £80 Brit / U.S. $120, which includes 2 adults and children under 16 years old. Each family member will get their own Cassidy Clan Certificate and be added to the email mailing list and database as well as a free consultation, if requested, with Nuala Cassidy-White, our Chairperson and Clan Genealogist
